Jessica Keltz, of counsel
A strong advocate and a strong writer.
Can help you attain your vision.
A 2006 graduate of SUNY Buffalo School of Law, with a B.A. from St. Bonaventure University, Jessica is a highly experienced attorney. Recently returned to Buffalo after eight years in New York City, Jessica concentrates her practice in the areas of municipal law, regulatory compliance, affordable housing, and landlord/tenant.
Jessica worked as legal department supervisor in a Bronx-based affordable housing developer, Lemle & Wolff Inc, for five years, handling extensive landlord/tenant matters as well as advising on Section 8, tax credit compliance, fair housing and risk management. Before that, she served in a similar capacity at a Brooklyn not-for-profit agency.
Jessica’s experience also includes real estate closings, funding applications, grant administration, not-for-profit startup and compliance work, and an internship in Buffalo City Housing Court. Like her LOSA colleagues, she brings a background of writing and editing to her law practice; a former full-time reporter and copy editor, she now contributes freelance articles to Buffalo Spree magazine.
Upon returning to Buffalo in 2017, she completed a policy and procedure manual for Erie County’s management of HUD funds to house the mentally ill and chronically homeless.
Jessica focuses her practice on helping people work with their government. Housing access, regulatory concerns, municipal law...whether it's a letter from the city, a notice from your landlord, a real estate closing, a planning board to convince, or a civic organization to build, Jessica can help you determine your goals and plan your next steps.
