From a rolling parkway to a well-built porch, the built environment hosts our physical lives.  In Buffalo and Western New York, where natural resources abound, a legacy of glorious architecture abides, and new construction is ever on the horizon, awareness of the built environment is key.  

Good design, adaptive re-use, historic preservation, innovation in materials, and creating community are key elements of the built environment in WNY.  The services of the LOSA can support those who are designing, working to save, or constructing the built environment, or who are facing real property issues, master planning challenges, preservation, intellectual property, or contract issues.
